People - pertains to fair and beneficial business practices toward labour and the community and the region in which the business conducts its business. It perceives a social structure in which the interests of the business, its employees and the environment in which it operates are interdependent
Planet - refers to sustainable environmental practices, minimal ecological footprint and a cradle to grave approach to assessing the life cycle of its products from raw material to eventual disposal by the end user
Profit - Profit needs to be seen as the economic benefit enjoyed by the society in which a business operates. It must not be confused with the internal profit of a business. it must also be seen as an appropriate exchange of money energy either in the form of money itself or as some other form of energy such as exchanging one service for another.
