It believes that change is possible by building momentum and aims to inspire a new direction of working and living.

It aims to follow permaculture design principles, major on local business for local businesses, minimising & reducing energy usage, inspiring community sustainability

Fundamental principles are

minimise environmental damage

promote equity

improve social well being

It focuses on 6 core operational areas

active care for the environment

responsible, fair and sustainable trading practice

the avoidance of short term business practice that cause long term damage

equitable, non-exploitative employment practices

equality of opportunity and promotion of diversity

socially responsible activities

It follows 3 core principles - People, Planet and Profit

People - pertains to fair and beneficial business practices toward labour and the community and the region in which the business conducts its business.  It perceives a social structure in which the interests of the business, its employees and the environment in which it operates are interdependent

Planet - refers to sustainable environmental practices, minimal ecological footprint and a cradle to grave approach to assessing the life cycle of its products from raw material to eventual disposal by the end user

Profit - Profit needs to be seen as the economic benefit enjoyed by the society in which a business operates.  It must not be confused with the internal profit of a business. it must also be seen as an appropriate exchange of money energy either in the form of money itself or as some other form of energy such as exchanging one service for another.
